  • September News for The Arts Factory

     Two Arts Factory members will have their work at 25 Main Collective, Cherry Valley, NY this September.

    “Homecoming” will feature Janet Marie Yeates, oil paintings; Bob Buck, photographs; and Mairi Meehan, ceramics;

    Opening Reception for these three artists will be on Friday, September 6, 2024 5pm-8pm

    The exhibit runs through September 29 Gallery Hours are Wednesday- Sunday 11-4

  • Summer 2024-Arts Factory Members Work on Display

    TAF members have been busy this summer. 

    Tim Shaffer, Garlyn Maginness and Joanne Resch have been accepted in the Cooperstown Arts National 89th Annual Exhibit, which runs until August 16th at the Cooperstown Art Association Gallery is located in the Cooperstown Library building. 

    It is an excellent show and well worth the trip to see it.

  • Summer News 2024-Berean Bean Exhibit

    Several Arts Factory artists have their art work on display at Berean Bean in Canajoharie NY. The photographs and paintings are an extensive and comprehensive documentation of the Beechnut demolition which has completely changed the face of this small village.

    Berean Bean 64 Church St Canajoharie is open Monday  through Friday 9 to noon. The exhibit will run through the summer of 2024. The following Arts Factory Artists were able to find inspiration in the heavy equipment; skeletal remains of the building, and growing piles of rubble creating beautiful and thought provoking images.

    The Arts Factory of Montgomery and Mohawk Valley Center for the Arts held a show in Herkimer County Community College at the Cogar Gallery February 16-March 22.

  • Art of the Valley

    The Arts Factory of Montgomery County and the Mohawk Valley Center for the Arts are pleased
    to announce their first collaborative art show featuring artists from both organizations.
    Working together to achieve our goals of enhancing the region’s quality of life by creating
    opportunities and supporting and encouraging local arts, artisans and venues of the Mohawk
    Valley of New York State, our first show will be held at Herkimer County Community College
    Feb16- March 22 2024

    This show is for artists who are current with their 2023 membership but we welcome everyone to see the show and to attend the opening. This is one more benefit to being a member of The Arts Factory. We work to bring you opportunities to display and promote your art and hope you consider joining us in 2024.     The Arts Factory’s annual member show is now open at The Arkell Museum and Art Gallery Regional Galleries. A Meet the Artists Reception will be held on November 18, 2-4.
