Barbara Bowden is a retired Nurse Practitioner who suffered a spinal-cord injury as a result of a horseback riding accident two and one-half years ago. Although now a quadriplegic, Barbara has worked with an art tutor to develop techniques that have allowed her to produce multi-media collages. Her perseverance and positive attitude have been an inspiration to those who have come to know her. This collection of collages captures images of her goldfish and her aquarium. Barbara believes, “adaptive art has provided a means for me to express myself in a creative way.”
